ASUENE Inc. announced today a collaboration with Sustain Hub Co., Ltd. to support factory energy efficiency projects in Thailand using EnergyPilot AI, part of its NZero energy optimization platform. Sustain Hub has adopted EnergyPilot AI and, according to ASUENE, is the first Thailand-based company to do so.
EnergyPilot AI simulates energy savings and returns on equipment upgrades, helping users compare options, prioritize investments, and prepare proposals.
Sustain Hub is a Thailand-based energy solutions advisor and project developer serving factories. The company supports clients from energy assessment and investment planning through project implementation and applications for Board of Investment (BOI) incentives.
Background to the Collaboration
Factory equipment upgrades require a clear assessment of potential energy savings and investment costs. Gathering equipment data, estimating savings, and comparing options can be time-consuming.
Thailand’s BOI offers eligible existing businesses a three-year corporate income tax exemption for energy-efficiency improvements, capped at 50% of qualifying investment (excluding land and working capital), subject to BOI criteria and approval.
Sustain Hub has adopted NZero’s EnergyPilot AI to support project development, with initial use planned for assessing potential energy savings and financial returns.
Planned Use of EnergyPilot AI
Sustain Hub plans to use clients’ energy and equipment data in EnergyPilot AI to estimate potential savings, compare upgrades such as HVAC replacements, and prepare proposals for further engineering evaluation.
The collaboration combines ASUENE’s AI-powered assessment tools with Sustain Hub’s engineering expertise, project development, and BOI application support to help clients move from initial analysis to project implementation.
ASUENE will work with Sustain Hub to advance energy-efficient upgrades across Thailand’s factories and other facilities, helping businesses reduce energy costs and GHG emissions. Sustain Hub also plans to introduce relevant ASUENE software solutions to clients as part of their longer-term energy management and decarbonization efforts.
